TERMS OF SERVICE (ToS)

1. Purpose
These Terms of Service govern the provision of:
- the free QR code generation service for static QR codes, and
- the paid dynamic QR code service, offered as a monthly subscription without commitment.
The QRnum website (https://qrnum.com/) is operated by ALPHAVIDIA, SARL, whose legal information is listed in the Legal Notice.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Any order or subscription implies full acceptance of these Terms of Service.
By checking the appropriate box or validating a payment, the user acknowledges having read and accepted them.
3. Description of Services
3.1. Static QR codes (free service)
The service allows users to generate static QR codes without storing the content entered.
No guarantee of availability or long-term storage is provided.
3.2. Dynamic QR codes (paid service)
The dynamic QR service allows users to:
- modify the QR target at any time,
- view scan statistics,
- access a user dashboard,
- manage a monthly subscription.
The dynamic QR code becomes inactive automatically upon subscription expiration.
4. User Account
Access to dynamic QR codes requires creating an account, which includes:
- name,
- email address,
- password (hashed).
The user is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.
5. Pricing
Subscription prices are displayed on the website in euros (VAT included) and may be updated at any time.
Any subscription period already paid remains due.
6. Payment
Payments are processed through the secure platform Stripe.
By subscribing, the user agrees to:
- monthly automatic billing,
- the storage of their payment method by Stripe,
- the transmission of necessary payment information to Stripe.
ALPHAVIDIA never has access to full credit card details.
7. Renewal and Cancellation
7.1. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically every month on the anniversary date.
7.2. User cancellation
The user may cancel at any time:
- from their user dashboard, or
- via the Stripe Customer Portal.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
No prorated refunds are issued.
7.3. Effects of cancellation
Upon subscription expiration:
- the dynamic QR code becomes inactive,
- redirection stops,
- the QR code may be reactivated via a new subscription.
8. No Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code,
the user has no right of withdrawal for:
- digital services provided immediately upon purchase, or
- services executed before the end of the withdrawal period with the user’s consent.
By validating payment, the user expressly agrees to immediate service delivery.
9. User Obligations
The user agrees to:
- provide accurate information when creating an account,
- not use the service to host or redirect illegal, fraudulent, or harmful content,
- refrain from abusive or malicious use (phishing, spam, malware, etc.).
ALPHAVIDIA reserves the right to suspend or delete any QR code used in violation of these rules.
10. Service Suspension or Interruption
The service may be suspended in the following cases:
- failed or unpaid invoices,
- maintenance operations,
- illegal or abusive use.
ALPHAVIDIA strives to maintain service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free functioning.
11. Liability
ALPHAVIDIA shall not be held liable for:
- temporary service interruptions,
- misuse of the service by the user,
- disruptions caused by Stripe or the hosting provider,
- indirect damages (loss of revenue, data, image, etc.).
The content pointed to by the QR codes is the sole responsibility of the user.
12. Billing and Invoice Access
Users may view and download their invoices at any time via the:
👉 Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from their QRnum dashboard.
All billing operations are handled by Stripe.
13. Personal Data Protection
Data processing is described in detail in the Privacy Policy, compliant with the GDPR.
It forms an integral part of these Terms.
14. Intellectual Property
All text, interfaces, designs, logos, and features on the site are protected by intellectual property law.
Any unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law.
In case of dispute, the user may resort to a free consumer mediation service.
Failing an amicable resolution, French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
16. Modification of the Terms
ALPHAVIDIA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
The applicable version is the one in effect at the date of the order or subscription renewal.
