We make every effort to provide accurate information and an available service. However, QRnum cannot be held liable for errors, unavailability, or any possible presence of malicious software.
Information is provided for guidance only; users remain solely responsible for how they use it.

The site may contain links to third-party sites. We have no control over their content and disclaim any responsibility in this regard.

Privacy Policy (GDPR)

7) Data controller

ALPHAVIDIA (details above) is the data controller for processing carried out via qrnum.com.

8) Data we process

  • Content entered to generate a QR code (text/URL): used solely to produce the image, not stored after generation.
  • Provided logo (image file): processed ephemerally (in memory or a temporary folder), automatically deleted after generation.
  • Minimal technical data (host logs: IP address, user-agent, date/time): used for security and maintenance. We do not use these logs for commercial purposes and access is restricted to technical needs.
  • We do not create user accounts and perform no profiling.

9) Purposes and legal bases

  • Service delivery (QR code generation) → contract performance (or pre-contractual steps) and legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention).
  • Security/anti-fraud (technical logging) → legitimate interest.
  • Voluntary payments (tip via Stripe) → contract performance + legitimate interest (fraud prevention).
  • Affiliation (voluntary redirection to a third-party merchant) → legitimate interest (service funding) + your consent by clicking.

10) Cookies & trackers

On qrnum.com, we only place strictly necessary technical cookies, including:

  • Language preference (e.g., pll_language) to display the appropriate version of the site.

No analytics or advertising cookies are set without your consent.
When you open a Stripe payment link or a merchant link (e.g., MOO via CJ), those services may use their own cookies/trackers on their domains according to their policies.
If we later add non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising), a consent banner will allow you to accept/refuse them and this page will be updated.

11) Payments (Stripe)

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not have access to full card data; Stripe is PCI DSS certified.
For a payment, Stripe may collect data necessary for the transaction (amount, currency, payment method, country, IP address/device fingerprint, e-mail for the receipt if provided).
We only receive operational information (amount, currency, status, date) and, where provided, your e-mail to send the receipt.
Legal basis: contract performance (payment) and legitimate interest (security/anti-fraud).

12) Affiliate links (MOO via CJ)

Some pages contain affiliate links to third-party services (e.g., MOO for business cards). If you click and make a purchase, we may earn a commission; this does not increase the price you pay.
No advertising script is loaded from qrnum.com; however, the third-party site (MOO) and/or the affiliate network (CJ) may apply their own cookies/trackers on their domains.
Legal basis: your consent when clicking (voluntary opening of the third-party site) and our legitimate interest in funding a free service.

13) Data retention

  • Entered content & logos: temporary retention strictly necessary for generation (automatic deletion after processing).
  • Hosting technical logs: short retention set by the host, for security/diagnostics only.
  • Payment data: retained by Stripe according to its legal and anti-fraud obligations; we keep only the accounting records required by law.

14) Recipients & processors

  • Host: Hostinger (technical hosting operations, acting as processor).
  • Payment service provider: Stripe (processing necessary for payment; acts on our behalf and, for certain legal/anti-fraud obligations, may act as an independent controller).
  • Affiliation: CJ and MOO, which process data on their own domains under their respective policies (controllers for their services).
    We do not sell data and do not share information with marketing partners outside these cases.

15) International transfers

Primary hosting is within the EU. Some providers (e.g., Stripe, CJ/MOO) may involve transfers outside the EU/EEA. Where applicable, such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and/or additional safeguards compliant with the GDPR.

16) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures (HTTPS, server hardening, regular updates) to protect your data.

17) Your rights (GDPR)

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability.
To exercise them: contact@alphavidia.com. We will respond within one month (extendable by two months for complexity). Proof of identity may be requested.
