Privacy Policy (GDPR)

7) Data controller

ALPHAVIDIA (details above) is the data controller for processing carried out via qrnum.com.

8) Data we process

We process the following categories of data:

User account data (required for dynamic QR codes)

  • Name, email address, hashed password
→ necessary for account creation, access to the QR dashboard, and subscription management.

Content entered to generate a QR code (text/URL)
Used solely to produce the QR image and not stored after generation (static QR codes).

Dynamic QR code data (paid service)
For each active or expired dynamic QR code:

  • slug (unique identifier),
  • configured target URL,
  • public QR URL,
  • purchase date, expiration date,
  • status (active, expired),
  • number of scans,
  • date of last scan,
  • Stripe subscription identifier (stripe_subscription_id).

Stripe customer identifier (stripe_customer_id)
Automatically generated during the first purchase, used to associate all subscriptions with your account and to provide access to the billing portal.

Technical hosting data
(minimal logs such as IP address, user-agent, date/time) for security purposes.

No marketing profiling is performed.

9) Purposes and legal bases

Provision of the service (generation of static and dynamic QR codes)
→ performance of the contract.

User account management (account creation, login, access to QR dashboard)
→ performance of the contract.

Management of dynamic QR subscriptions (monthly payment, automatic renewal, cancellation, access to invoices via the Stripe Customer Portal)
→ performance of the contract.

Security / fraud prevention
→ legitimate interest.

Payments via Stripe (one-off purchase or subscription)
→ performance of the contract + legitimate interest (transaction security).

Affiliate links (if applicable)
→ legitimate interest + your consent upon clicking.

10) Cookies & trackers

On qrnum.com, we only place strictly necessary technical cookies, including:

  • Language preference (e.g., pll_language) to display the appropriate version of the site.

No analytics or advertising cookies are set without your consent.
When you open a Stripe payment link or a merchant link (e.g., MOO via CJ), those services may use their own cookies/trackers on their domains according to their policies.
If we later add non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising), a consent banner will allow you to accept/refuse them and this page will be updated.

11) Payments (Stripe)

One-off payments and monthly subscriptions are processed by Stripe.
We do not have access to full credit card details.

During a transaction, Stripe collects the data required for processing:

  • amount, currency, payment method,
  • email address used for the payment,
  • country, IP address / device fingerprint,
  • subscription-related data (subscription ID, status, billing cycle dates).

Stripe also generates a customer identifier (“customer”), allowing you to manage your subscriptions, payment methods, and invoices.

You can access your invoices and manage your subscriptions (cancellation, payment method updates) via the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your user dashboard.

We only receive:

  • the Stripe customer identifier (stripe_customer_id),
  • the subscription identifier (stripe_subscription_id),
  • the subscription status,
  • accounting-related information (amounts, dates, payment status).

Legal basis: performance of the contract and legitimate interest (fraud prevention).

12) Affiliate links (MOO via CJ)

Some pages contain affiliate links to third-party services (e.g., MOO for business cards). If you click and make a purchase, we may earn a commission; this does not increase the price you pay.
No advertising script is loaded from qrnum.com; however, the third-party site (MOO) and/or the affiliate network (CJ) may apply their own cookies/trackers on their domains.
Legal basis: your consent when clicking (voluntary opening of the third-party site) and our legitimate interest in funding a free service.

13) Data retention

User account: retained as long as the account is active.
You may request its deletion (which will also terminate your Stripe subscriptions).

Dynamic QR codes & related metadata:
retained as long as the subscription is active, then archived for the legally required accounting period.

Stripe identifiers (stripe_customer_id, stripe_subscription_id):
retained as long as the account has an active subscription, then archived with mandatory accounting records.

Technical logs: retained for a short period defined by the hosting provider.

Static QR codes: input data deleted immediately after generation.

14) Recipients & processors

Hostinger (hosting provider): technical sub-processor.

Stripe:

  • sub-processor for payment processing,
  • independent data controller for certain operations (fraud prevention, legal retention obligations, Customer Portal management).

Affiliation: CJ / MOO (if you click to access their website).

We do not sell data and do not share identifiers with marketing partners.

15) International transfers

Primary hosting is within the EU. Some providers (e.g., Stripe, CJ/MOO) may involve transfers outside the EU/EEA. Where applicable, such transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and/or additional safeguards compliant with the GDPR.

16) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures (HTTPS, server hardening, regular updates) to protect your data.

17) Your rights (GDPR)

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability.

To exercise your rights: contact@alphavidia.com.
We will respond within one month (extendable by two months in case of complexity).
Proof of identity may be requested.

You may also contact the supervisory authority: CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

A request to delete your account will result in the deletion of your data and the automatic termination of any associated Stripe subscriptions.

18) Contact

For any question regarding this policy: contact@alphavidia.com

19) Changes to this policy

This page may be updated to reflect service or legal developments. The update date appears at the top of the page.

20) Dynamic QR Subscription Terms

This page may be updated to reflect changes to the service or legal framework.
The latest update date is indicated at the top of the document.

The dynamic QR code service is offered as a monthly subscription with no commitment.

Payment is processed automatically each month via Stripe.

You may cancel at any time from your user area or via the Stripe Customer Portal.
Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing period.

No prorated refunds are issued for a period already started.

Access to the dynamic QR service automatically ends at the expiration of the subscription.

After expiration, the QR code can be reactivated through a new subscription.
